Choosing a condenser starts with heat rejection at design conditions, not just nominal tonnage. Confirm refrigerant type, condensing temperature, entering/leaving water temperature, flow rate, and allowable pressure drop, then check fouling margin and tube pass arrangement for your water quality. Oversized units waste water and cost; undersized units raise discharge pressure and shorten compressor life.
